Home page 301s to Blog, Both noindex. Is this a problem for SEO?

I have 120 unique content articles, but the blog is an aggregating website for art and toys. If you go to the .com you get redirected to .com/blog/index.html - which is noindex. Since google changed their algo I believe I was being lumped in as a scraper website because I blog about content around the internet.

I can set up a landing page as the .com and I can also put the blog's content in an iframe and let the blog be indexable, but I'm not sure if either is a good idea. Am I going to have problems with backlinks and SEO if my .com redirects to a non-indexable page? All 120 unique content articles are indexable with all internal links pointing to them as follow links.

    Thanks!

Also, here are my nav links on the side of every page. I thought I was doing a good thing not letting page juice leak to category pages, but now I'm wondering if I'm making it harder for google to crawl my website. Thoughts?

I can not understand why you don't want to index your home page. You should choose a default home page for your website and get it indexed by search engines. I don't think that your internal links in navigation should be nofollow. Make them dofollow, because there is no harm in spreading link juices towards your other inner pages.

My concern is I don't want the noindexed category pages to get that link juice - or would it pass straight through to whatever is clicked? Am I harming my ability to get my site crawled quickly by this? Is it costing me hits?

Apply nofollow to those particular links not at every.
