Hi so I have an appointment with a client to "network" their computer to one other computer in the store, so they can use this software they can use on both computers... Well I did some research and all " networking " computers is, is hooking them up through the same router or it seems. Well I just wanted to check here before I showed up to "network" their computers together and I was really in for more then what I bargained LOL So please inform me if setting up a "intranet" and combining their computers through a wireless router will not work for running a program on the main computer. THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP !
Looks like you are in the wrong business. Well, that's OK, I do surgery on the side and I often have to go to forums to figure out how to do a triple bypass or something.
This kind of made me smile. There is not much to setting up a peer to peer network. It's built into windows. If it's your first time you might want to practice a bit and or take along someone who knows how!
LOL - HEY I ADMIT ! I dont know how to fix or set these damn things up ... i just now how to build websites So I will call them tomorrow and let them know that this may not be something I will be able to take care of for them
