I'd say it's a pretty competitive term to rank for. I don't understand why you keep bringing up the 107 daily search number. I've already explained how you don't need a ton of visitors to make money in this market. Someone searching for "home loan" is very targeted and the odds of them filling out a mortgage application is very high. If they close on a loan that is worth a TON of money. If you think it's an easy term to rank for PLEASE go for it. Since you said yourself it's not even worth $100, I'll pay you $75 for the site when you get it ranked, ok ... just let me know when you are done.

You seem to have all the faith in the world that you will get rich with a site that is currently making $1.00 - $10.00 clicks from adsense ads at 20 clicks per day. Ok, no problem.... I'll sell you a dream like you are trying to sell others based on (What it might make). Just because a site makes it for a low search phrase don't make it worth 100k. if that was the case, every 2 dollar site out of the gate that hit a longtail phrase at 1,000 uniques & 100,000 competing would be worth 1,000,000.00. If you have a million laying around I'll throw together a longtail with more competing pages than the 30,000,000 "Home Loan Uk" gets... Dreams for sale, Dreams for sale, anyone want to buy a Dream today.. No it's NOT making any money right now, but if you give me $100,000.00 you MIGHT be able to make money with it. Dude, you just. don't. get it. This is a HIGH PAYING niche. If this was a site about toasters and 100+ daily searches it wouldn't have the same income potential. Again, just let me know when you rank for the same terms... I've got a check with your name on it. Edit: I'm in NO WAY involved in the sale with this site or associated with the seller. I'm just trying to explain how not all sites are valued the same. The 10x monthly income that everyone uses cannot be used for every sale.

And thats if it's even really his site, have you even looked at the whois reports and compared them to what he has said? The site is worth whatever some is willing to pay for it. I'm just trying to explain the difference between this site and the average low paying niche... you can't value them the same. Can you show me in which post the supposed owner of said URL posted the exact URL in question? Didn't think so, & thats what I mean... you're trying to sell something for a guy that may not even really own (What ever URL it is in question) the site. Save all your penny's, $1,000,000.00 may take you a bit longer to scrape up than the 100k you don't even have on hand now (theres always taking out a mortgage to buy the site you say is that good - an option for your strong faith). again, good luck with your sale (What ever URL it is)...

LOL, he didn't post the url in the thread but he told you where it was ranked for each search engine... it wasn't rocket science to figure out the site. And yes, I AM NOT associated with him. I did ask him some questions about the site though. He seemed like a legit guy and was very open about the site and how long it took him to get ranked.

the site wasn't exactly made clear, because the rankings could easily change. I knew it wasn't halifax though Despite only getting 107 searches per day, this is a high-paying niche and it can certainly be valuable.
107 searches for a home loan keyword....come on....where did you get that number from "toilet seat nuts and bolts" gets more searches than that
