    Google has a system that reward good text ad. More clicks an ad gets, the lower the cost. They try to make a balance between what the advertiser is willing to pay and how much the publisher is willing to accept.


    How do I avoid smart pricing?

    Have other income streams and don't depend on Google. If it gets too low replace ad with something else.
