Hi, I'm a noob here, but I found this looking for pictures of Wednesday. The dust wasn't as bad where I was in the south east of Sydney, but I guess it smelt a lot like, well, dust. Have you ever been into an old room that has been shut up, and felt the urge to sneeze? It's like that smell minus the muskiness, if that makes any sense at all. I think you probably had to be here.

The images look awesome but I doubt that the condition of the people won't be that good. The people of the affected areas have to grapple with air pollution :(

Supposedly they are saying now that the dust may have been radioactive :S That's alarming.

Yes, Sydney is once again fine! I am just now getting over a chest infection that I got from all the coughing with the dust in the house that evening, apparently.

It certainly was an eerily beautiful day - if not for the health risks it posed I'd love it to happen again for Halloween.

Thank you all for the kind words! :)

If it ever happens again I'll take my own pics for you.

I've been in Sydney before, anyway, it's a cool orange phenomena.
