I just checked my channels today and one of them is showing a eCPM of $16.61 and a CTR of 8.0

Has anyone else got a eCPM like this ?

Its absolutely insane, i would post the screenshot but its against Googles TOS.

I really have no idea why its jumped dramtically so high.

I think you should contact Google . Google will surely review your account for having high ctr. They may even send you a warning for illegit clicks. Why dont you see where these clicks came from & whether they are from the same IP ??

There is nothing remarkable about a CTR of 8%. If you look in other threads you will find some people achieving even 20%.

    Hi all,

For a specific channel i have right now a CTR 100% and a CPM of 127.51€.

7 impressions = 7 clicks. that´s why. This site (this channel) is like this everyday: i´ve sended an email to Google Adsense suport and they reply that they´re going "to monitor the account."

    ????

For lower impression it's normal.. Once i have 10 impressions, 3 clicks & $3.28 for a channel. ie. EPCM = $328 . But it will not stand when impressions increases. 8 % is a good CTR. Unless you're doing any thing against G TOS it's ok.

in my case, the high CTR is understandable. At least in this particular case i mention above. Later the day the CTR is going to drop to normal values: 5, 10, 15% etc etc The site gets only a few impressions day but good CTR.

jezza chan, keep on tracking these values and if you got any doubt, email google adsense suport. that´s the best advice i can give you.

i don't think you have to worry if your CTR get high, any change of the website layout can do higher CTR jump.

Thats true, but he hasn't mentioned anything like that, therefore, one would assume it to be a standalone figure.

As Scubita said, it is important to put the number of impressions into context too before being too excited about the high CTR and eCPM. If you have hundreds of thousands of impressions daily, this number is suprising but if all you have are a handful of visitors early in the morning I have seen eCPM in four digits.

Yesterday on one URL channel (one page in a site) for the day I had 1 impression, with 1 click for $2.10, so CTR 100% and CPM was $2100. Wish it happened for all my impressions, I'd be as rich as Bill Gates in no time.

Message is as already said - there is no point looking at stats for channels where impressions are very low, because they don't give sensible numbers. Google know that just as well as we do so so no need to panic.

In any case 8% CTR won't raise any alarms.

my average epcm is around $30. my ctr is up 3% from last month at a lil over 13%. Should go up to about or a lil over 20% when unsandboxed. so my monthly jumps are expected as more pages are created/indexed. right on track for my 2 sites
