Holy Crap - 78$ a day

I was checking my adsense account and found that the amount was a bit higher than i expected . It was previously just double digit ( All time ) .

So i wanted to check out the reports .

I think that the traffic just increased a bit more than i ever expected .
I was so stupid i had just a single ad unit , cause i would have made 10x the amount during the period .

 

how did you got that traffic? was your site on digg's home page or what?

About 6 of my stories were on Digg's Front Page simultaneously .

The comments in stories were like " WHo is this new guy ? " @ Digg.

 

Not bad. But this also shows how bad traffic from digg convertes into clicks - 0.10%

 

I havent showed the CTR of next days .
I had three ad units at perfect spots .

 

which host do you use....I don't think my host can withstand that kind of traffic. .

 

Nice bit of success, do you mind me asking how did you get that many people to digg you?

Even the blogspot server weren't able to take that much traffic for some moment .

When i was putting my money i was stuck at just <1 dollar a day , then i started to think creative and different by having stories which i expected would be much more successful .

 

does it say 169 clicks for $0.46 ?

 

That's eCPM .
It's low but i increased my CTR a lot to increase my earnings .

I thought that, I was like wft? Then I realized my browser window was to small.

My CTR always seems low, no matter what I do it never seems to change. I think I might go for direct advertising since i'm getting a lot of traffic that could be used better.

Yeah you might want to erase the CTR and eCPM because you can get banned...
