Holter Monitor Anyone?

    My doctor installed a Holter monitor on me today as I've been having heart palpitations for the last couple of years and have some heart related illness in the family.

    Here's my problem....

    Since the hookup, my heart has not skipped a beat, hehe... it's sort of like taking your car to the mechanic for a noise and when you get there, the noise isn't there!

    Question: Do they look at the whole period of time that this is monitoring or just when I push the button? Just curious if they look for overall abnormalities or just those that I report. I am cracking my wife up walking around mumbling "I wish my heart would skip damnit, so I can push this button". :D

    Any insight is appreciated ;)
