Well linkmanager, it is quite funny when people accuse Social Networks for privacy breaching. If you want to keep something private, why the heck do you put it online ? If you wanted to keep your girlfriends picture for yourself, dont upload it and stop yelling about their bad security measures etc. This makes me cry and laugh, dont' know which more, when I see all those women pictures with their children. Quite sad that the best thing she has done in her life is her child. If you want to be famous on net, post your pictures, not your family!! Of course there were cases when such pictures were used with bad intention by damn old perverts. IMHO, we cant say bad word about Social networking websites. Simple rule: Want to keep something private? Keep it out of net. Otherwise, post it and stop yelling bout privacy Regards
It's true... it's your choice. You don't have to get ANY social networking accounts if you don't want to. What we need to do is raise awareness, not security. People need to know that there ARE perverts out there and people need to be taught to simply be careful! Facebook has good enough security... it's all a matter of how smart you are with what you put on your Facebook. Furthermore, we can't spend our whole lives being afraid of how secure we are. Every time you walk out the front door you're taking a risk. But spending your life fearing the risk will get you nowhere. You might as well lock your doors and never go outside! But c'mon, what kind of life is that?
