I own domain www.loota.com which was created 25-apr-2002. The domain name is Finnish and basically means "box". I don't think it's such a killer name (and it was created just for fun anyway), and there most likely aren't people in Finland who would like to get it - but I was wondering if the age alone makes any difference for pricing? Are 5-year old domains like this worth anything? (even when they don't have PR or backlinks)
i am a bit confused mate in this case i mean in 5 year time, its harder to get no pr than to be a high pr domain even if the domain is updated in the least number, it is suppose to be on search engines leading pages anyways selling it wont be a good idea coz you wont get even the investment out of it have a nice day gaurav sorry if you dont like any of my words
well, I haven't mentioned it anywhere (I suppose this link might have been the first time ) - since it was purely for fun with some other guys (we have a private forum under that domain). It hasn't been such investment... heh, I like your words - thanks for trying to help.
sounds like a good blogging name lol - loota - catchy too, maybe set up a blog with it and monetize it later
Old domains are more valuable than new domains. Don't sell it and I will well develop it and try to get a higher PR.
I see... you mean like making a brief campaign (like writing "looting" articles) and submitting them to all over the net? And then also fill the site with "loot" stuff. You will develop? Fine by me
