Hmm am i f*cked

    I was hoping to try do some seo with Yahoo for a new website, i submitted to Yahoo Dir but they didnt allow full anchor text, now when i search my website on yahoo it comes up with the title as the directory anchor, but i really need it to show the real title tags.

    Am i f***ked??? :confused:

    If you submit to Yahoo directory you must be aware that they will put whatever anchor text and description they will give you. Its on their TOS.

    So I must say you're not being f**ked up!

    Hm yeah but isnt just going to be much harder to rank for terms when the phrase isnt in my title tag

    I guess that Direcory its not SEO friendly.

    Paying $300 should at least get you a anchor text.

    $300, wow that's alot of cheese for a submission. But I guess some or even most of you SEO-ist's here can afford to take such a hit.

    If the site has a company name on it, they'll use that as the title. Otherwise, they choose something as close to a name as possible, but rarely use your KWs in the title.

    If you can provide a contact page on your site that shows a company name with KWs in it (e.g., Online Meds Incorporated) and an address, then you can request a change to your 'New' company name.
