i need help in link building, what are the ways in link building, is there types of link trading.. im lost here

I desperately need your help guys, thanks a bunch

 

1. link trading - trade links with other people who want to place links on ur site
2. link buying- buy links for a small monthly/permanent amount.. the price depends on the traffic + the pagerank on which the link will be provided

 

Add site to directories and search engines is another way.

Add your site to link directories. Works good. But you need to get tons of them..

Write articles that attract attention, and stand out from the crowd.
Do link exchanges.

Oy -- too many ways -- Feel free to go to my Link Building 2.0 article -- Anyone else who has ideas for building links, please feel free to add to the article. The article was about a year or 2's worth of compiling. I hit on almost all tactics, the tactics just need to be cleaned up. As for iMarketingGuru.com's links, this site is only used as my brain dump =o)
