Hitting a roadblock with ValueClick - any suggestions?

    Hi All,
I am looking at pay-per impression programs for my website - since Adsense simply doesn't do much for me in terms of earnings. My "page impressions" summary over the past few months is as follows:

    July 2009
Total Unique Visitors Total Page Views
    17848 26060

    June 2009
Total Unique Visitors Total Page Views
    1509 3743

    May 2009
Total Unique Visitors Total Page Views
    1159 2044

I realize I have had a ridiculous spike this past month and I do not by any means expect that level of traffic in the next few months. I expect something closer to 5000 page views a month. I tried contacting ValueClick in June since I figured I met their traffic requirements of 3000 page views a month. Yet, they got back to me saying they could not accept my website into their network. They said that for a new website, they "prefer" 10,000 page views but that they also consider elements such as layout of the page etc. They did not give me any specifics for other aspects of the website - which makes it VERY diffcult to tailor my website to meet their needs. After my traffic crossed the 10,000 page view mark this month, I contacted ValueClick again and they do not respond to my e-mails anymore. My questions are as follows:

    a. Any thoughts on how I might circumvent the ValueClick issue?

    b. Is there an online resource wherein I can have my website assessed for inclusion into "Pay per impression" programs?

    c. Any "pay per impression" programs I must avoid at all costs?

    d. Any of you part of ValueClick's program? If so, links to your websites would be helpful so that I might try to decipher some common elements for website layout etc.

I cannot imagine this to be such a hard process but it sure seems like it is. Any thoughts or input from all of you would be great. Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    Pranav
