hitparade dot mobi, for mobile music, maybe a bit old-fashioned word. I already got a low xxxx$ offer, but i wanted more, what do you think about it?

It sounds like a good name. Good luck on your sale. Do you mind sharing where your offer came from? Did you have it listed for sale here, or somewhere else? I have one I think is pretty good, and I'm trying to figure out where I can get the best offer.

Thanks, it was an offer in sedo, my counter-offer was much higher and he's gone, i think he was a reseller.

Thanks, but it was very low xxxx$. .mobi may swing away, but this is one of the few domains that makes sense with mobile.

i think there are not many (maybe a dozen) of better domains for music. Hitparade was the best word for it in 60s/70s years.

So did you have a regular listing with Sedo, or did you pay for the featured listing?

 

Okapi2, to be honest with you, I think it was a fair offer (by low XXXX, you probably mean $1200 or so, correct?) Google and Yahoo results are irrelevant here. What's more important, to Stephen's point, is that .mobi is still a big question mark.

Having said this, hitparade and mobi do indeed go together, so your best bet for getting that top offer would be to develop the domain somewhat, get some traffic, and increase PR to 3-4. Then we could be talking about mid-XXXX or even higher.
