I've just played through Hitman: Absolution and I'm quite disappointed. It's not that it's a bad game, it's actually good, the enemy AI is smart, guns feel nice, the cover mechanic is snappy and responsive. Tet this can't compete with the brilliant Blood Money. Absolution's flaws are in it's story and attempts at being "current gen", dragging the core experience into mediocrity. The story is a grind-house inspired trash, and yet the whole game is built around it. There are literally levels of the game where you have to buy a suit and leave a store, there are also a quick time event "assassination" mission. The graphic style is also weird. The yellowish-green tones aren't pretty on the eye to say the least. Have you played Hitman: Absolution? Did you like it? Did you play Hitman: Blood Money and how do you compare the newly released sequel to that?
