    Hi Editor of DMOZ,
Today, I noticed that I got a hit from DMOZ.
But I checked http://www.dmoz.org/, I cannot find my site is listed in there.
I am confused, if this (http://www.statbd.com/) is not listed in the site than how do I get hit from DMOZ.
    Thanks
    Mahi

It might have been an editor or a robot looking to see if it's functional. You can't deduce anything from it.

I've always wanted to know how to get into DMOZ, but everytime I submit, it takes forever for someone to review the site.

How would an editor's IP show up as one belonging to DMOZ? Not trying to be smart- I really want my news service listed.. just do not understand the response.

    Q...

The OP will have seen a dmoz.org referrer in his logs.

I disable referrers in my browser so as to avoid over exciting people :).
