I was surfing the web for laser eye surgery and came across http://www.lasikeyesurgery.com/ and noticed through my firefox pr plugin that they were a PR 8. I did a quick link check on yahoo and it looks like they are getting a huge number of links through a partnership with a hit counter site. It struck me as a great way to get a lot of quality links since it would be from sites all over and would grow naturally as the counter was used by more and more sites. Has anyone here tried somethign like this? Would google catch it?
