I have a history site that focuses on WWII and the Civil War. Every now and then, a Historian writes a book about an event that happened during these wars, and Amazon sells them online. I don't deal much w/ ads (except for google ads) and am pretty ignorant of putting ads on websites...I basically do this for a hobby. I was talking to somebody the other day and he was wondering why I couldn't put an advertisement out on my site to sell a certain book through Amazon. So basically, what I'm asking is, is there a way of going about through Amazon in placing an ad concerning a certain book? Not looking to get rich here - this is more for fun - but I do have a specific book in mind that would fit nicely w/ my website.
Amazon has a HUGE affilliate program. I haven't used it, but I think it is almost as easy as setting up AdSesnse. I know you can choose specific items to advertise on your site, or have Amazon sweep your site and choose an item/book to advertise based on your keywords. Check it out...it sounds like it would target your site perfectly. Hope this helps.
