Historically 5% CTR and then last two weeks hardly a click

For 2 years now I have had 5% CTR on one of my site. It was nice and paid my student loan payment.

Now the last 2 weeks, with no negative change in SERPs I am hardly getting a click.

I have no idea why

All my links are indexed the same and the same content is getting read.

So weird

 

It happens to almost all of adsense publishers. Earnings drop even with traffic increasing.

Uh, very scary story.
Is anyone found the reason why is this happening?

 

Do you see ads in your pages ? Before banning a site or an account, google first stops placing ads in those pages(even when your account is active). Everytime you open them, you see only public service ads. When you see public service ads in any page continuously everytime you visit that page, u can smell something wrong there. In such cases, you wont get any clicks.

 

In this economy, people aren't looking to buy...so they don't click as often.

 

Did you check last years stats to see if there was a drop around this time?

 

Yeh, Right I happens often,
When my traffic is more I get paid less,
When my traffic is less I get more paid.

Don't Know WHY?
