His video sharing still popular?

    Hi everone,

    Im all ready to step into my new project, a video sharing site with great name,branding ect ect..

    to make a long question short! do you think people still want to post videos on the net? or it's becoming little passé?

    Definitely yes,coz nowadays many people get fedup with youtube coz the censorship is too strict.
    If you wish to success,then i suggest you to operate a video sharing site with no censorship at all.

    Video sharing site aimed at a particular niche will also be great and profitable if you like to monetize your site. There are too many sites on net that aren't focusing on niches and are just following the youtube pattern.

    Very good opinions on the no censorship and also the niche aim,

    i agree Ron! a niche would make my site more profitable , gotta find an original one too, and im kindda discusted with the 20 or so cheap you tube clones , not much $ to be made with lame stuff like that .

    well if you guys have an incredible idea ! feel free to share:cool:

    Anyways have a good weekend all and let me go brainstorm this some more.

    I would say there is still room for some video
    sites. I myself am in the process of launching
    one, focusing on a specific neglected niche :)

    Few months back I was reading an article about a niche video site. That site was about ladies shoes and handbags. Women posted review videos about their shoes, and styles in shoes and handbags that they used. The company behind this video site was making money from shoe and handbag companies which wanted to promote their latest products there.

    I think if you search this site www.springwise.com you'll find that article, and also you'll find many more unique and fresh business ideas. I use this site to find business ideas for myself and then I implement them if I find a useful idea.

    yes SEO , i realized reading my last post that i kindda ranted about lame clones but i felt cheap after coz some of these people are not only trying and also some profit. so for the record i was well an ars i guess:eek:.
