I get occasional emails from "SEO Experts" who claim they can boost me to page one for certain keywords. I consider myself moderatly up-to-date and informed on SEO optimization. My sites have key word titles, alt tags, h1 headers, etc, etc. I try to get my link out there as much as possible and I exchange links only with appropriate, niche-related sites. Still, I don't consider myself an "expert" at SEO and one of my sites in particular doesn't show up as well as I'd like in the SERPs for my keywords. I'm wondering.... How much do these "SEO Experts" cost and what, exactly, do they do? Will they really give me specific suggestions that are easy to implement... or will they just tell me stuff I already know. Has anyone ever hired an SEO person.... and was it worth it? Many thanks in advance for your replies and thoughts.
With what you said I would recommend not hiring one. Most will do the same thing you are just posted about. Best to always do it yourself.
I personally agree with aaron. Its best to learn SEO for yourself.I know its a investment of time. Also if you can afford try getting a good book on SEO and not the free downloads from net as there is a lot of information on net about SEO and very confusing. But in a book you will find everything under one roof.So better go for a good book(latest edition) if your finances allow.I feel that will be a good ROI in long run.
Don't do that no one can give you guarantee to get #1 if some one saying this then don't believe him.
