    Hello,

I'm looking to hire a PHP programmer, to create an order form that is linked to the Paypal checkout form.

For example, take a look at http://www.xhtmlmagic.com/order

The value of the order should change when the number of pages selected increases, or when the client chooses plain xhtml, or wordpress etc.

And then on clicking submit, he should be taken to paypal, and charged 50% of the total that came out from the order form.

If you need more details, PM me.

Also, please PM me with your charges and some previous PHP work if you're interested in this job.

    Regards

You want a javascript coder if its to mimic the example page. Is there really any backend processing for the IPN portion? Cause if you just use their email notification, the cost would be much lower for just coding the javascript to configure the paypal payment request. Less I'm just missing something.

Well, there would a bit of javascript involved, to display the total amount that the user has to pay. However, PHP needs to be used to access Paypal's API, so that the client is charged 50% of the total amount when he checks out.

The real part I was trying to get at is you don't need the fancy features of IPN. There is no notification handling necessary from a script. That part can be handled via the usual email?
You aren't expecting Paypal to keep track of the balance owed right? Cause if they offer that I missed it in the IPN docs.

Oh okay, maybe IPN was the incorrect word to use there. The correct word should have been API. Basically I just need it to send the client to paypal and charge him 50% of the fees upfront.
