I'm currently looking for a PHP programmer that I can outsource ongoing work to. I own and manage a rapidly growing web design company. We currently outsource a significant amount of work to 3 different programmers, but we're needing one more to keep up with our workload. Most of our work involves WordPress, but we do occasionally work with other Content Management Systems (Drupal, Joomla, OpenRealty, osCommerce, etc.) Proficiency with WordPress is a must, but we're hoping to find someone that is at least somewhat experienced with numerous other CMS's as well. Tasks that we need help with range from very basic (like installing or upgrading WordPress) to more advanced (creating custom WordPress plugins.) Here's a sample of the types of work that will be required. Installing WordPress on new cPanel accounts Upgrading outdated WordPress installations Installing WordPress plugins Troubleshooting and repairing broken websites (browser compatibility issues, etc.) Installing and configuring WP-Ecommerce and Gold Cart Plugins Integrating Authorize.net using their various Integration Methods Adding content and pictures to WordPress sites (we'd provide the content and pics) Basic bug fixes to WordPress themes The right person for this job must meet all of the following qualifications: Must be able to provide samples and references for past work Must be consistently available for new work (40 - 100 hours per month) Must be able to provide same day turn-around on most small tasks Must be willing to communicate with my project managers via Skype AND Basecamp Must pay extremely close attention to detail. Work needs to be completed to the specs that we provide, without much back-and-forth discussion and guidance.
