Hiring people to post on Craigslist?

Discussion in 'General Marketing' started by mbomb, Mar 26, 2007.

I recently posted a job on one of the freelance work-for-hire sites. I'd like my ad posted to all the major US cities. I've had bids from $1/post to $80 for the job. What would be a realistic price to pay for such a job? Any recommendations for a good site to find people to post for cheap?

There is a general posting section here that I figure would do great work for .50 cent a post. You may want to go with someone who has a lot of reputation so that you don't get a writer who is a "one line" wonder. Or someone that copy's content and just puts it on your page. Make sure to add these as guide lines to your request if you do decide to run this here.

I always got lost so here is a great way to get to where you need to go.

Buy Sales Trade > Servies < Content creation ! :) Post your job in Content creation and you may get more work done then you thought you could have for 80$ that is just IMO. But I am almost 100% you will agree.

I hired someone per hour to do that for me. It costs $5 an hour and he can do 10-12 cities in an hour.

??? Wouldn't this get you banned.
You would likely need to change the content for each post, at least the title. You would probably need a large number of email addresses to use and frequently changes IPs.

Doesn't seem like it would be worth doing more than a few ads at a time.

Here is my recommendation though, pick someone with established Craigslist posting feedback; because many will respond, but only a few can do it correctly."

You may like to have look as such services at vitalteams.com, they offer services like hiring an employee on regular or short term basis, may be at as low cost as $3 to 5 per hour.
