I do not expect that there will be a large volume of chats, but I would like to get someone on chat most of the time. This wont be hard for you, you will not be chatting constantly - could be a few an hour, could be less depending on the time. In order to do the job, you need to be willing to learn some information (not much) about products and be comfortable working in an ecommerce system. Bear in mind you will be able to do much more than just chat - you may get no chats some hours, I don't really know how many people will use this feature. So long as you are focussed when people are chatting and you stay at or near your computer, you can do whatever else you want. Also include your available hours (in GMT time) and on which days - you will be expected to be available for these times on these days the majority of weeks and if you are unavailable you must give some notice.
