GetAFreelancer.com is a good place to find freelancers from India. Anybody that is worth anything won't let their work go for cheap.

I guess I shouldn't call it poorer countries, but yes developing countries is right. For India, it is probably constantly becoming a higher economical nation, which wouldn't surprise me but as aassociatehit said, in comparison, that is an okay amount of money to make monthly.

Thanks for all those who negative repped me but couldn't be man enough to post or leave your name ;)

BTW I don't care if you negative rep me...seriously, but this thread was notmade to be offensive!

Sorry, just checking, are you a failed stand up comedian or a business person?

Just to enlighten you, there is no such word as "outsources."

Regardless of whether or not you are racist, creating a topic titled "Hiring Indians for hard labour online" is not only rude but also derogatory - what you should have written is "Hiring people to do illegal CAPTCHA form filling" ;)

You'd asked us to be 'man' and post, so here it is mate.

I gave the reason for the negative rep...and my reasoning was good

I did not mean to offend anyone by my wording, I am sorry if I used bad wordplay

Many people have names like that, it comes from being one of the most (if not the most) multicultural countries on the planet.

This sounds quite like sweatshop labor. I would also be weary of paying people these low sums of money across the border for sketchy work, especially when you don't know the labor of their country.

Well do me a favour. Register a domain name, put up a blog about yourself and on the blog put this.

10 Reasons why I will never be successful.

Reason number 1 - Because I am racist, and then copy and paste.

You seriously are a very stupid person. You shot yourself in the foot with the thread, and I do not blame people giving you red rep.

Keep those red reps coming people.

I'm Indian as well, and not offended. If people in my country are getting paid that's a good thing, its providing them food on their tables and valuable experience and skills that they could use to make more money eventually.

Should I make a thread about sweat shops in china?

Anyone know any good Indian content writers? lemme know

I am India and I'm offended... Just because someone's Indian doesn't mean anything. I live in the US and I obviously can't live off $10/day (not that I'm selling any services).

I understand where you're going with OUTSOURCING for cheaper prices, but there is no reason to state Indians, we could still be from anywhere.

Why can't you guys just understand what I said instead of keep spamming for post count? I requested this thread to be closed; but I guess mods want it open, so keep it going, idc...reps, I have received positive and negative for this thread, funny comments with them, I don't care, it is entertaining

If you think I am racist, think again, like I said before, my parents are from Kenya & India!

Try odesk.com, I was with GAF for a couple years and compared to odesk they are nothing. When I post a job I get tons of hits once it's daytime in India, Phils, Pakistan, or wherever. I have traveled all over the world and if $10 is offensive to anyone then you haven't traveled to those parts of the world. This was a bit funny to read through but not offensive in anyway. No matter how you word it, it's all true...people just living inside that politically correct bubble. I am about to hire a guy for $150 a month to do all my seo work and some writing from India and I am loving that!

    That's exactly what I mean.

    Wow...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minimum_wage_law#India

Minimum wage in India is around 135 RS which isn't even $3.5! A day! So for those who said I am being cheap, I don't think I am, I mean, the work is easy and it's in the comfort of their own home...

To me its workfair and they are working from home. Sally Struthers isn't there. They are good people and I enjoy working with them. I am more prone to hire a filipino above anyone else though since I have a vested interest there. To me it's your preference, and mine is to make rockin sites for as little as I can.

Lol that doesn't really make sense...Hiring cheaper workers would make me not starve as much wouldn't it :p

Either way, I starve quite a bit, I usually have no food 2 days out of the week or more, I always keep my money online and barely ever have money in hand.

I do personally feel the heading must have been taken care off while posting.

Anything above / around $275 pm would be not at all bad for starting service providers in India as per current living standard. But work do need to be weighted and paid sensibly. Its time the service providers get together and think of not thrashing the rates of particular services as most of regular workers among them are hampered. The fly-by-night operators will not be affected by this. Much of the service providers do have long term standing in this niche of earning and would also like to stay that way for long. But than its business and things are going to fluctuate. We the providers need to learn to cope with it.

I am certainly very keen to hire some folks from India to work part time on long term projects.
The budget is more like $10 for 4 hours of work every day. Pretty easy work.
can someone please tell me where can I find them?
