It's easy but boring work, therefore easy money for someone with some time. - here is the info copied from my old dead thread: I'm starting a website to become a reference for travel and living costs of worldwide travel destinations. It's sort of a quick, simple, travel living cost index. So basically, I need someone to find me these prices. What I need prices for are * Average, cheap meal (street food) * bottle of beer (bar, store, or both) * Hostel or cheap hotel room (with AC or without) * transportation (buses, taxis, or whatever) * Internet per hour at cafes The researcher would be required to come up with [most of] these costs along with a source (other blog, wikitravel, bootsnall forums, emails to travel bloggers). The information is all over the web, so I'm looking to compile it. So I need to hire someone on a contract basis to find about 40 more destinations ideally for now before I start marketing the site a lot.
