You can't compare the economics of the US to the economics of the UK, they are two completely different things.

Who gives a crap about the cost of a house, hell up here houses are going for $700,000 right now, but people are taking jobs that only pay $30,000.

And you have been talking about experienced staff, whereas the job was looking for a newbie/entry level.

He seems to be having trouble with the concept of a trainee and the fact that the job is in London. If I had that lack of attention on a CV it would be going into the bin

 

I would say this is a good pay for a trainee/starter.. very reasonable! No wonder people moan for no reason...!! You have to consider the fact.. you learn, you explore, you get experienced and you are paid as a SEO Trainee!

 

This is really an excellent opportunity for a trainee. At least one should appreciate that.

 

What's the benefit of being in an office anyway, just train me online, I can make calls and still talk directly with clients and I am a very hard worker and quick learner too

 

Most of our client meetings are face to face rather than over the phone. People tend to expect this in London.

We also find that regular meetings increases client retention and increases understanding for both parties.

Unfortunately Matt a lot of people are doing that lately. We've seen a huge influx of trolls into the forum lately and I've been slowly picking away at the credibility of a few of them in an effort to discourage it. Haven't had much luck at it, but it's better than just letting them shoot their mouth off and think it's acceptable behavior.
