This is something that would probably be a good project for someone who's not making much money, but has a good foundation of understanding, and can write well and speak well. What I'm interested in doing is selling some private ad space in a particular niche. I basically have the niche locked down already, with 6 out of 10 first page search results for the keywords, alot of attention, stable traffic, etc. What I want to offer is either sales of single ads on different parts of the site (and it has alot of different parts), or a package deal with an add on the main site, as well as ads on other parts. The site has a large membership, and that membership is active with blog commenting, etc. and all of the content that's served to them is free. There are no other ads on the site. No adsense, or anything, and nothing being sold. All areas of the site have good PR, get traffic through organic search, PPC and social networking, etc. I generally get $30 for a single blog post on the blog part of the first site I want to do, so I think that there is definitely saleable ad space there. What I am looking for is someone who can take some basic statistics I provide, create a cool sales presentation (or at least effective), and just simply sell it. You could be harvesting email addresses for companies in the niche using seo elite, blog search - checking out who is advertising on google for the keywords I can provide you - etc. I am looking for someone who can do work via email, AND telephone. These are the ad slots I have to fill up: Banners 125x125 buttons text links (sitewide or specific pages) blog roll links paid blog posts Mass mails to members (as a footer - XXX is now helping to sponsor your free content) Bulletins to niche targetted myspace accounts and so on . . . I need someone who can take basic stats, make some screen shots, etc. and come up with a nice 2 or 3 page prospectus for advertisers, and then get them to buy by ANY MEANS necessary. What I will probably do is want to create a couple of different packages . . . Like this: 125x125 add in private members area 125x125 add in forum Paid Blog Post Text Links on related pages or on 10,000, or whatever 1 mass mail after signup to members mentioning you as a new sponsor 1 weekly bulletin on myspace etc. for $$whatever. I am very flexible and open as far as commissions go. For the right person, I will pay very high. You need to be willing to put in some work, of course online and on the phone if necessary. Most of this will be a one shot deal. If you sold someone a 3 month package, you don't have to do it again, and they'll probably continue to advertise. I will give you a recurring monthly % of the sales. You can use it as a case study or marketing to find other clients I'll give you a testimonial if it works out well, etc. Basically I will pay you a montly recurring comission for some work, and help you to build your own business selling this stuff if you want. I'll also be available to help you with your own projects and so on. I am not a guru and don't know everything, but if you're not making much, I probably know more than you.
