i paid this guy on hourly basis for a couple of hours ( i hired him for 10 hours ) on the 13th and he promised to complete the work by 14th or latest by 15th.

Once i paid him through paypal( he insisted on being paid in advance ) he stopped responding and started playing games and told me every know then that i would be getting the reports and the work would be completed and then he said he was out of station and now he says he cannot complete the work and even refuses to refund the money.

I have opened a dispute with paypal to get the refund as well as left a negative itrader so no else gets cheated by the fraudster. His company website is www.seobbsr.com and he is a fraud and a a jerk.

That's been happening a lot here on DP lately. The scam rate is definately getting higher. I've hired several people to work for me but then they never get around to it. I think that if a person cant be committed to do the work they were hired to do, then they shouldn't post threads looking for work in the first place. I find the lack of work ethic to be very frustrating...

The best way to deal with this is just to pay 50% advance only.Atleast remaining 50% is safe.

The best thing to do unless the guy has a good itrader is to pay after work is completed or pay some after a certain amount of work is done. Its too easy to open an account on here and rip off a few members, get banned and do it again.

Paypal never refund whens its a digital delivery so your stuffed unless you take precautions.
