Honestly the only good payment processor is the one the consumer uses and at this point it is only PayPal with a few alternatives for international countries.

Wrong, if you use some payment API customers who are most of them retarded do not even know what payment they are using ! Just put a Paypal logo and it's done :)

Well yea, but most members prefer paying with their own PayPal as it is more secure than using your bank or CC alone.

I think that you are right - the only dealings we have had with them is through a virtually stolen credit card. It appears that someone, possibly from the Netherlands, set up an account using virtually stolen credit card details and the account was therefore set up in other than the cardholders name. The only response Hipay provided to an approach to them about someone setting up an account with them on stolen credit card details was: "If you were not the one who initiated the transactions, we advise you to contact your bank to oppose them, and contact the police for further investigation."

The card, reported by Hipay, was apparently used at: http://www.1001extensions.nl/. There were 2 transactions exactly the same details (which was not explained by Hipay) each valued at 549.49 Euros on 12 April. Hipay have not offered to investigate if one of their clients is using stolen credit card details nor, like other companies, have they offered to refund the unauthorised debit of Euros 1,098.98. This to me puts complete doubt in their ability to provide a secure service that they advertise.

Very, very worrying that they don't appear to want to do anything about someone opening an account with virtually stolen credit card details (basically, the cardholder still has his credit card in his wallet and lives in Portugal and has never visited the Netherlands and in fact, finding amusement in the worrying situation, also has very, very little hair to put extension onto).

Personally, I would keep very clear of this company unless they can provide 100% evidence that they can in fact provide a secure service and, given our experience so far without even having heard of this company until the unauthorised entry on the statement but have apparently paid them over 1,000 Euros, is certainly not a company we would have anything to do with.
