I think you've got him all wrong...he's not denigrating the religion. I agree with him..Hinduism is not a closeted religion like many others. And I dont know whether Lingam is he Sanskrit for penis but yeah the Shiva lingam that's worshipped in temples is really what he says. There is also a temple dedicated to the female womb..the famous Kamahkya Devi temple in Guwhati, India
