I disagree that she deserves the nomination. Barak has won the nomination of the party within the rules and framework that was constructed by the party. The framework that the democrats have constructed sucks, but its there's; they chose it, and barak has won fair and square.
Is the republican process better? Hell yes. The democrat process reflects the values of alot of people in the party; that things must be setup in such a convoluted way that it becomes near impossible for anyone to win or lose.

The thing is I disagree that he won it fair and square. First off, he has not won anything yet. He still does not have th number required. Second of all, the media won this thing for him. Not him. he did not win it on issues or merits or anything. We hardly know who he is. However, since the media love him, that is all we ever heard about. That is all the young kids ever heard about. Of course that is all the black people knew about. That is the reason he is in the position he is in now. I have been called a racist for this remark before and I take great offense to that being that I am hispanic and a minority myself. However, the facts are the facts. The most delegates are proportionate to where the most democrats are, in the city, which is where most black people live. He is a black candidate and blacks stick together. They want one of their people to advance to the highest office in the land. They feel that the world owes them something because of something that our forefathers did. I am not racist by any means, I am speaking the truth. Take away 90-93 percent of 30 percent of the democratic population in certain states and his ass would have been handed to him on a platter.

I'm trying to figure out what fact was not a reality? Obama is half black.. I said that, and its now disputed... So who knows.

Question nothing, accept everything... That's the message of "change"... Yes, indeed, he is the ideal Obama demographic.

Yeah, but if you say it enough on the internet, eventually it becomes accepted as truth.

You're not the first person to say that... Most of the people I hear saying this are old enough to remember that humble peanut farmer from Georgia coming on TV and saying, "HI, I'm Jimmy Carter, and I want to be President."...

So much for trust.. This scumbag just gave away nuclear secrets. Carter was just a plain spoken moron.. Now he is proving to be a senile old man who is desperate to forge a new legacy outside of, that really bad president that drove out economy, military, and way of life into near ruin.

    That is your prerogative.

Polls, shmolls... Polls are only favorable to one side or another when they favor that one side or another. Outside of that, polls are generally structured such that they always yield an expected outcome.

Which is what a lot of people seem to say when I assert my belief that Obama does not stand a chance in hell of becoming president. Edwards had a chance, hell, Hillary, still has a chance. Obama? nope, nada.... He's gonna need my vote, and others like me.. He's gonna need the working class, the blue collar and the real middle class if he stands a chance in the over all election.

Yeah, I was that way after 1992.... In retrospect though it was easy to see that Bill Clinton was not hired, GWB was fired.

That they have, but then again, when it comes to the stations listed above, it's pretty much always bee the case that they control the majority of the the media, however, in prior major elections, there was no real competition or alternative.. Now there is.... As much as people hate to admit it, that there Fox News probably has more viewers than all the stations listed above.

True, but the majority of stupid people in America are usually too stoned to vote and rarely make a difference anyway.

True, but then again, if you take into account that it takes a combined assault of 1/2 dozen TV news stations, another 1/2 dozen of the liberal radio talk shows and a hand full of goofy Hollywood celebs and only one Major middle of the road Network and a cable network at that, along with 1 or 2 conservative talk show hosts to maintain some type of balance, I'd say things are not too bad..

It's fairly evident that the majority of people out there are sick of the hate news talk, and liberal whining.

There is a reason for that. Those that own and run these media outlets have their own agenda, and it is anything but factual, truthful and honest.

There is a reason for this too.. That's because most of the people that buy this garbage have been trained and or indoctrinated at the college level. A mere 4-5 years of college undoes everything these kids of learned from their parents.

Yeah, he is a good speaker. And he does look like a kid.. Hell, he is not much older than me or your.

I think you hit the nail on the head though with the Soro comment. It's no secret that Obama is nothing but a yes man, and uncle Tom, dare I say for the wishy washy anti-American, white guilt mongers of the world...

What's really sad is Soros is not even an American by birth, yet he is quietly attempting to control the outcome of a US election for his own ego massage.

He's like what 50 delegates off? The super delegates will be going his way. He's won more votes than Hill unless you use the Clinton's version of the math which isn't valid because it doesn't follow the rules.

Bottom line is that he is winning under the democratic party system which they constructed. Everything else is pretty irrelevant unless he's cheating.

Would have, could have, should have. Who cares. I'll repeat it again, he is winning and will most certainly win under the terms that the democratic party has dictated. They have a right to dictate the terms of their own process even if it sucks.

I am no expert in the arcane rules by which the Demoncrats govern their "party", but it does appear to me that the party's "leadership" has implemented a system designed specifically for the purpose of enabling the few hard-core leftists in control of the party to ignore the wishes of the mass of centrist Democrats which have served as the backbone of the party for decades.

Either this will work and these systematically disenfranchised centrist Democrats will continue to vote for a party which has abandoned them, or these centrist Democrats will see that they have an option.

The idiot Republicans may have accidentally done the smart thing by nominating the most left-wing Republican possible. Except for his principled position regarding freedom for the Iraqi people, McCain might as well be a Democrat. The asshole wanted the federal government to regulate baseball. I can't imagine anything more in-line with Democratic values.

As soon as the Democrats are done with their silly little dance, McCain is going to publicly point out that Obama has one of the most leftist voting records in the Senate and he is going to start campaigning for the votes of those centrist Democrats -- just like Ronald Reagan did in 1980.

I guess it is a sort of a Reagan vs. Carter scenario all over again...

I have yet to understand all the rules for getting elected in the primaries. Is there a link that explains it.
