So there are some people saying that there's probably an 80% chance that Hilary Clinton will win the Presidency of the United States next year. Who here thinks that she will win? More importantly, who here wants Hilary to win? I for one don't want to see her win because I don't think that she'll be a good leader for the United States. A few examples why she won't be a good leader: **Baby Bonds -- an expenditure of $2.5 Billion per year **Socialized HilaryCare -- an expenditure of $110+ Billion per year **She's unsure of how she wants foreign relations to go (i.e. flip-flopping on discussions with Iran and other issues) I think we should all join the Stop Hilary Express! I definitely am!
Ron Paul kicks her butt, issue for issue. It's been known for some time that Paul might be the only Republican who can defeat her in a general election. Vote Ron Paul!
Dr. Ron Paul is the only (pro-peace) Republican who can beat Hellery. Mainstream Republicans need to face reality... ...the one single pro-peace option is the only one who can beat Hellery. ~~~~~~~~ Many people are finally ready for real change. http://www.ronpaul2008.com Congressman Ron Paul: Archives (Dr. Ron Paul in his own words and brilliant writings)
I would love to see her lose...but the problem is that the GOP does not have a really strong candidate so far. Furthermore, Ron Paul is no where near strong enough to beat shrillary, nor any other GOP candidate for that matter...RP is the Dennis Kuchinich of the GOP.
That line is very outdated. Someday you might want to keep up to date. ~~~ One good example is here (many more are easy to find) Ron Paul in an excellent interview with Judy Woodruff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CA7jHaowNME (part 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWdz1pnAFUA (part 2)
I don't really like hilary clinton or anything. But seriously guys, there's notthing wrong with socialized healthcare. Its just anti-communist propangda that's making you guys fear it. Trust me, its not going to turn the country into a communist state.
No, it just means that if you work hard, and you have the means to pay for care, you have to get in line like everyone else. Ask people in Canada who need rush surgery or to see a specialist. A lot of horror stories, because when you remove the profit motive by capping the system through socialized healthcare, there is no incentive to provide the best possible care, just an incentive to not get sued.
Ron Paul is more like Mike Gravel of GOP Hillary will be the next president. It doesn't matter whether we want her or not. George Bush ran for president twice, lost on both occasions, and still is the president. The times of meaningful elections are gone and you are delusional if you think anyone outside of Bush or Clinton crime families has a chance
You might be right. Do you consider this a conspiracy theory? Also is Rudy G. part of the Bush or Clinton crime family? The free market is much better, but they don't teach this in school.
Ok, lets put it this way. If you work hard you will have money to pay for healthcare? I do live in Canada, and there are problems, I personally think its better than the system they got in the US where the insurance companies are there to make a profit. Do you know how much an MRI Scan cost, or Chemo? They are thousands of dollars that the large portion of US citzens wouldn't be able to afford. Of course you got the health insurance stuff, but what about the people that don't got it. Sure you say if you work hard you can afford it, well for some people they are born into poor families and can't afford it. I think as a human being or just as a good citzen, you should lend a helping hand to the people in need, I'm sure you agree. And sadly not everyone in the US can afford insurance, or its a heavy burden for them. When some has a health condition and recieved horrible news, we should help them, not make their lives worst by charging them 1000s of dollars. I know it sometimes take a long time to get an MRI per say, but when a person is rushed to the hospital and needs help he gets it right away. In most cases, in the US you won't even get an MRI, your insurance company will just say that, it not neccessary, unless its really proven you need one done. In which case, in Canada you will be given priorty and get it shortly.
The entire united states tax, money, health, education, and military organizations need an overhaul so massive it would take the full support of congress, the supreme court, and the president, along with the people. I still believe the plans I drew up two years ago in college are better than anything else we have right now.
It doesn't matter if they can't afford it. MRI scan increases chances of cancer, if I remember right, and chemo statistically is about as effective as no treatment. My dad had cancer, the medical industry made 250k in revenues off of him, they doctored him to death, and it doesn't seem to me like anything horrible would happened if he died free of charge and without pain that chemo causes. Seems to me like people who refuse chemotherapy are not that dumb. That's why both doctors and patients are fleeing to places like Tijuana, where free market hasn't been outlawed and a small bunch of drug companies doesn't lobby the government to ban everybody else from competing with them
MRI increases cancer??? Where you getting this from? its Magnetic, not x-rays. And I'm not talking just about these two things. There are many other stuff like ultrasound imaging, drugs in general. Your missing the point. Some people are not like rich like others. If you are a single parent with 3 kids, healthcare is a burden.
The average citzen in Canada, France, UK all live longer than American Citzens. Stupid Argument, Next. Stop pulling legs here, we are looking at the big picture.
[Satire] Except the United States could nuke all those countries and the world Stupid Argument, Next [/Satire] just because you think you thunk it was, doesn't mean you thunk and thought it through, because you could have thought and thunk it, but then you would have sunk it.
Sry, I'm not really getting what your saying??? Whatever your trying to say, It's actually fact. http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0004393.html First one is mortailty rate and second is average lifespan. Canada 4.6 80.3 France 4.2 79.9 United Kingdom 5.0 78.7 United States 6.4 78.0 Stats for 2007, see US has the lowest average lifespan and highest mortailty rate.
There are different factors that effect how long people live, a lot of them are lifestyle choices ( Type of food you eat, how long you work, how much exercise you get) that have little to due to who pays for health care.
Vaild Arguement sonighost, but there's a lot of factors that point to the fact of healthcare also. Lets take a look Canada and US eating habits and lifestyle are pretty simliar, You could argue that Canada has a cleaner environment as they protect their trees and stuff like that. But France, like they eat so much junk. And european in general smoke more than North Americans. But yes your right there are other factors in play. I really think lots of people are brainwashed, I'm not even American, I could care less but I think healthcare should be a right to humanity. I mean sure if you don't want to have unversial healthcare, fine, but I think they should at least do more for the pooer people. The single mothers with 2 jobs and so on. Maybe if your under a certain amount of income you get free healthcare, everyone else pays. All I'm saying is there's a problem here, that they are leaving the poor people behind and neglecting them with this system. And some middleclass too, if thier insurance rejects them. Not every system is perfect, but we as human being should always look for a better alternative.
