Nice find! It's strange to think that there are a few words in the dictionary that only a few people will ever own as an internet domain just because they were in the right place at the right time to get them at the beginning.
Many people escape the law. I'm actually really suprised his money wasn't able to bribe enough people in Tijuana.. one of the most corrupt places on earth... It's crazy to think if he made $65 million (or more) way back then.. how much the domain is worth now
Where the heck do you get your stupid idea that Tijuana is one of the most corrupt places on earth? Show me your source
Now you're just offering "Travel suggestions for the corrupt man". Feel free to use that as a tag line.

It used to be that Mexico wouldn't extradite fugitives, that all changed with that one case a couple of years ago (forgot what exactly it was, some dude killed some girl)
A stupid idea ? Everywhere in mexico remotely close to the American border is corrupt. Here's an example: http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/mexico/tijuana/20051015-9999-1m15tjcops.html Not to mention nearly all the drugs smuggled into the U.S. comes from mexico and all the mexican cartels. I've heard tales here from older people who say criminals can hide in Tijuana freely as long as the pay a "fee" to stay. Just a stupid idea that mexico is corrupt Edit: Violent Drug-Related Crime Continues Unabated in Tijuana
Guys, Here's a list of CPI (Corruption Perception Index) by Transparency International: http://www.transparency.org/cpi/2004/cpi2004.en.html#cpi2004 Surprisingly, the US is at 17th.
That's actually a pretty interesting survey although I'd like to have seen more than 10 surveys taken per country.
