I added a navigation bar link called "Newsletters" to by message board, but when I click on that link it doesn't become highlighted in blue as the other three links are. As you can see in the pic below, the "Forums" link is highlighted when the Newsletters link should be. (This is just a test board so I haven't bothered to call the linked thread "Newsletters" yet.)
