My average is about 5000 - 7500 / day with about 3 ads per page, and 40,000 unique visitors per day.

wow i find that quite quite odd. I know a website thats very popular, and i looked at their statistics they only got 2000 a day. And they are a PR 6, and #1 in a lot of keywords on google, so i was under assumption that, thats usually what good sites get... ;O

    2,000 uniques is pretty low

I average 35 - 60k / day to be more specific, and around 250,000 +++ page views per day

    Highest YPN day?
Today. With two hours to go.

I was way too freaked out by the bad YPN targeting.
    I blocked.
    I targeted.
Now I don't do either, and get excellent results, money-wise.
Now, I don't care about the "poor" targeting.
I just see the numbers. Good enough for me.
    Sustainable? Who knows.
I'm just going with the flow.

I used to be an Adsense stat checker freak - but now it's so predictable.
Now I'm a YPN stat checker freak - "Wow, another big surprise!"

I am scared to put YPN on my main site because of the risk of losing a lot of Adsense revenue. I tried it for an hour yesterday and I think I lost $20 in that hour (difference of what I made with YPN and what I lost by not using Adsense). Anyone else have these concerns? I am wondering if I try it for a day if a few high dollar clicks will raise YPNs hourly average.

It seems, like YPN cant target but pays more. But i think it really depends. If you have a lot of visitors, adsense might be better, but if you have very little then YPN could be better since you get fewer clicks. oR vise-versa, im thinking its sort of a chart where the lines intersect at certain levels of impressions a site gets.

May those people that talk about their 50k hits or whatever, tell me their website address? So i understand how a site gets 50k hits ?

What's not to understand, 50k isn't much at all compared to a lot of websites.... A lot...

Is Ad Targeting legal with YPN! Changing your Ad Targets to something totally different?

Well why do you avoid the question tho. Maybe i'm mistaken, but how come you don't want to mention your site? Is it top-secret :p or you don't really have a website like that? Sorry for being nosy, just really curious.

I focus on first time hits. Not even Unique, sometimes i look at returning visitors, but usually the first time visitors is what matters since that explains how much traffic you really get. I don't get anywhere near the 10 thousands, so i just need some points of comparison. Thats why im asking for a website example.

Today has been my 2nd day using YPN, and what I have earned so far today has been more than my highest day in 3 months of using adsense. Yesterday with YPN was a few dollars less than my adsense average though, but I attribute that to poor ad targeting.

I have decided to leave YPN up for a week and see how it does. The ads pay alot but you hardly get any clicks. Which doesn't really matter, as long as I earn more than Adsense.

I don't think "hits" means what you think it does. Useful terms to describe traffic are visits, page views, unique visitors etc. Hits is not a useful term for describing actual site traffic.

Just had my best day on YPN thus far. Changed my targeting yesterday to a more profitable subject. Im wondering if changing the targeting every couple of weeks might work well to keep the ads fresh, at least until Yahoo starts serving relevent ads. today mid $xx.00
