we all install a little plugin that sends a report to our email whenever someone clicks on something.
My highest 1.8 is on money making blog.. Seems it's the maximum for these types of website? wow, the medical site seems to earn pretty good high paying keyword?
I have gotten several $7 clicks for some of my legal websites. The highest I have ever gotten is $24...
Personally I can remember something around $5 but it hard to know for sure because it was mixed in with other traffic. I do know that a company has paid $98 before because a couple of years ago, I was bidding on a term with another company on AdWords. We were going back and forth outbidding each other. Then one morning, instead of putting in $0.98, they typed in $98.00. I immediately, placed my bid at $97.99. This was a huge company with a giant budget and I felt bad later. Their account went offline after about 4 hours so they must have had a lot of money in that account. I hope the marketing guy didn't get fired. I was worried the entire day that someone below me would place their bid at $97.98 so I refreshed it every 5 minutes for hours. They were in the AdSense Network so someone had to have made a killing on them.
$9 baby... awhile back when "Dedicated Server" ads were bringing in the big $$.. not sure if they still do though.
Unfotunately that was not you , but anyway, that must have been the highest ppc ever. I guess lots of clicks in range 20$ and more are due to mistakes in setting up the Adwords. Anyway you were brave to rise the bid to 97.98, what if someone clicked your ad?
it says "(b) click-through rates or other statistics relating to Site performance in the Program provided to You by Google;" I understand that it is not allowed to say I got a click worth x.xx$ on some specific site. As long as we speak in general I think that is not a problem. CTR or even average CPC is far bigger issue than highest CPC.
So i guess : i had $5.5 for medical malpractice $1.25 has been the highest I've seen. Not bad at all. $16 on a real madrid site.. Are just "general" right ? And not related to "click-through rates" right ? Geez' ... You guys do whatever you want.
I see a few clicks over $20 each year. I theorized that someone made the mistake of keying in $20 instead of $0.20 but a $20 bid will only produce a payout of $0.01 more than the next highest bid. I know of mortgage companies that have bid $20 or more but they had specialized niches. I am not sure if they still go that high.
