the average highest paying keywords are the ones with the most bids aka sponsors. Find keywords with at least 150 sponsors and you could easily get average 70c> per click. :D

imo the highest paying keywords would be in either the financial, medical or legal fields.
The highest click I've ever heard of was about $2... but I have limited knowledge :)
Just wanted to ad my opinion...

Did you try using the code google gives so the bots only read the areas of relevent content? Maybe you need to narrow down the content to what you want your ads to show
    just an idea?

I've been thinking of building up custom lists, working off of Overture's Bid Tool by hand and doing old fashioned leg work. Here's a example of some results...starting with 'nevada corporations' and just doing some digging around for related terms:

    '16.01','13.15','13.11','corporate kits'
    '15.52','3.00','2.01','certificate of incorporation'
    '9.54','3.33','3.00','asset protection'
    '9.06','9.04','9.02','llc certificates'
    '8.20','8.11','3.80','registered agent'
    '8.00','6.00','5.99','nevada corporations'
    '5.00','3.25','3.01','corporate seal'
    '3.75','3.75','3.21','limited liability corporations'
    '3.74','3.74','3.73','llc'
    '3.56','3.56','3.01','incorporate'
    '3.50','3.26','3.01','minute books'
    '3.00','0.97','0.96','small business corporation'
    '2.50','1.00','0.70','stock certificates'
    '2.48','2.47','2.39','corporations'
    '2.15','2.14','2.10','s corporation'
    '1.46','1.45','0.47','corporate stamps'
    '1.20','1.10','0.90','embossing seals'
    Code (markup):
If anyone has an interest in this, please PM me.

the best way to research newest keywords is to watch the news, you will find high payers long before they ever appear on a forum like this

well...one thing to note about high paying keywords, once they are discovered, a million sites are built around them and drives down the price.

best to strike a balance between mid paying keywords, less competition but still OK traffic

it's the medium and low competition words that earn you the most.

We're seeing .60 to .90 cents per click but thats on a well established (i.e., 10 years old) educational site with PR7.

I have seen $1.46 per click in the past and on one day we made $74.49 on 12 clicks ($6.20 per click) just wish it would have continued to be this high. :)

I generally get $1.00 - 1.50 a click, but then also get clicks at $0.11, so go figure ;-)

I saw 0.78 and 1.32 highest but You can't make an average because it really depends on the subject, on the theme of the website and the amount paid by the advertiser.....

This happens when Google considers the clicks to be invalid. I would be really worried if this would start happening to my account. Reconsider your promotion programs, make sure you do not break any AdSense terms.

Dont know why people run after high paying keywords.

High paying keywords = more competition = less traffic
Low paying keywords = less competition = more traffic

In both the senarios the income is gonna be more or less the same thats what I have experienced

I get on an average 12 cents a click and I am happy. :)

Well, if your site gets tons of traffic then 12c a click is a great deal :) but if it only gets around 1500 uniques a day, then this is a lousy amount :(
