I've researched mesothelioma, and the reality is that you would be hard pressed to get a top organic ranking. The top listed sites are associations and have a pretty significant number of inbound links as well as age. As a result, it would be difficult to compete organically. From a PPC perspective, costs are significant so you'd have to find some really profitable affiliate products or services to sell if you want to make money.
