    Hello All,

There are some sites which has a free list of AdSense keyword which has very high CPC (cost-per-click). BUT as Google does not reveal the CPC an advertiser paying, it is not possible for anyone to produce such a list.

But I found a website which tells - that to know the highest paying keywords, one need to experiment in the Adwords site in the sign-up process.

But I am confused in the AdWords sign-up. While on the sign-up process, there is a "Set Pricing" stage - this is where you can know about CPC of a keyword. There is a "View Traffic Estimator" link in the "Set Pricing" page - in this link you can know about the CPC of any keyword that an AdWords advertiser is paying.

Could anyone of you here tell me the exact process in the AdWords site, to know the CPC of any given keyword ? Please give a click-by-click / step-by-step guide & help ?

    Thanks.

    Here you go...

    https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordTool

    Now enter a keyword.

In the dropdown box next to "Choose data to display:" select "Cost and Ad Position Estimates"

Next to "How much would you be willing to pay per click (Max CPC):
    US Dollars (USD $)"

enter a high number like 75.

Click the "Get More Keywords" button.

    Hope this helps,
    JJ

JJ_McClure, I used search term "lawyer" - it gave many terms with CPCs - is this the price an advertiser will have to pay ? And any AdSense publisher would get a fraction of that CPC ?

Sorry about the confusion with the link. That was my fault.

Yes. That is the price an advertiser has to pay to be in the top position and the adsense publisher would get an unknown (Google's secret) percantage.

    Check out this term...

    aviation lawyers

It's one of the highest that I've seen lately :)

    Good Luck

    Hello JJ_McClure,

"aviation lawyers" did not result any better CPC.

If you put different max CPC in the "Goolge keyword tool", you get different CPC of a keyword.

So what is the correct CPC of that keyword ?

Hello JJ_Mclure, Why will I have to "enter a high number like 75." ?

Why not a small number like 1 or 2 ?

    Whats the difference ?

If you enter a low number, it will tell you what position your ad will be for that number. I enter a high number when I want to see what the highest bid is.

Now also keep in mind that these are the prices being paid by advertisers on Google's search pages. Many people pay less for the ads that appear on Adsense. If anybody knows how to search for 'content network' bids(ads that appear on Adsense), I would be VERY interested.
