Just wanted to know if AdSense fills it's highest paying ads on a page in the first block on the page source? Or in a specific size block? I'm trying to figure out the best way to lay our my page source, if I should put the 768x90 first, as it is the top spot, or the 120x240 which is lower and in the sidebar.
For me, adblocks, which are located first within the source code, do have higher eCPM than those at later positions. Google says somewhere within the adsense help, that they start "filling" the adblocks top-bottom, so there will be cheaper ads at the end to "fill" the gaps. Maybe they vary this from time to time to avoid "always click the first ad" users, but in my opinion, there should be a descending value for the ads on later blocks
This is what they say, and I don't believe a word of it. If it were the case, the 1-cent wonder MFAA sites would not appear on your site if there were ones that were higher. So, if they did appear and I filtered them, that would mean I should be left for the most part with PSAs. When I DO filter, them, though, much higher paying ads show up, proving that the "highest-ads shown first" is not true.
sir .. my information about high good paying which contain main keywords about adwords members put high $ for it , it the first step .Then you can see traffic with click (cpm ) ...i thinks it good. then you can use adspytracker for this.
Yes, quite likely...if you are starting up a site. If you have one established, and don't feel like being the proud owner of the 9,134,729th "get out of debt" site, then it comes down to placement/ordering of the ad blocks on the page, which I believe is irrelevant (see my MFAA example)
