The 'tips' are repeated every single day and if you go and read them they are all on the site just use search. If you want to make money, build up unique content in a niche, advertise, your traffic will increase, you clicks increase, you make money. Then keep adding content ....
OMG the "Secret Formula" was just posted again! Seriously if you want to learn how to make tons with AdSense read all the posts here at DP, but Rupert has once again just summed it up. To make money with AdSense all you need to do is make a popular website and apply some extremely basic AdSense integration, but mainly you just need to improve your site's popularity (after all AdSense is just a numbers game - more visitors means more money). How do you make a popular website? You make a good website! What's a good website? A website with lots of useful and informative content or services? How do you keep a website growing in popularity? Write more content! But people tell me you need links to rank well in search engines, is this true? Yes it's true to a degree but if your content is the best on the internet the linking issue should take care of itself - but yes getting incoming links is a good thing, but it should be a secondary focus to building a site with GOOD QUALITY CONTENT. Moral of the story - BUILD A GOOD QUALITY SITE - the popularity and money will take care of itself after that, but if you are trying to make money and develop traffic to a site that isn't a "GOOD QUALITY SITE" then you are going about things the wrong way.
Getting around $12 a day currently but it's increasing all the time. All due to changing format of ads. Took some advice from here a couple of weeks ago and made a huge impact on click value.
I tend to disagree with this secret formula business of write content -> link build -> rinse repeat. Sure it will make you money with adsense no question but a little more is needed to start pulling some major cash. Yesterday $551.53, but adsense is not really my "business" so to speak.
Such as... I know it's an abbreviated version, but the a build quality website with quality content then apply some sound advertising and SEO techniques is normally what I would say is the most effective, and the best advice you can give to people attempting to start making their first $10/days. That said I'm definitely up for hearing your spin on things.
Yea there is no doubt it will make you money, but its not my style it takes too long and the return is too low. I'm glad your open to new ideas, thats a good quality to have. The way I see it, many many noobies get into the adsense game wanting to make money because of the passive income and the low costs involved. Too many people spend way too much time writing article after article then doing boring and monotonous link building and seo work. They end up working for less than the minimum wage, you need to ask yourself is my time WORTH this much? To me content is not king. Content can be a component of a successful website surely. To me making lots of money online is about using effective methods to generate traffic, creativity and originality, the proper infastructure in place, marketing, intelligent cashflow management. Its about treating a website like a business vs treating the website like an information centre of articles. Thinking big vs thinking small. I dont want to spend a year of my life just to get up to $500 a month.
I think I see what you are saying - but I think some people are coming from different places. Some people are creating assets (those that are creating good quality content rich websites that are based around quality information) - this strategy is one where time invested in the beginning is HIGH and earnings are low, in most cases, extremely LOW. But with time and nurturing that asset grows, a bit like compound interest. I mean I'd imagine most of the people that are just getting into AdSense are generally people that also aren't THAT experience with web design and online marketing either - and it really is a learning experience for that first year being a webmaster, and it's a refining experience for the next few years after that as people build their human capital. I mean I have been at this game for two years now and I'm only recently starting to consistently earn $1XX/day, and I know that there is still a long way to get in terms on refining my knowledge and techniques when it comes to website design, marketing and management, but I'm also at a point where I can turn what I know into money very quickly as long as I have time. However whilst this asset building model is one approach there is the business model - which I think is what you are get getting at, buy low sell high, get money to make money, rather that deliver a quality service or product, this model works on the premise of being the middle man and connecting buyers with sellers. In reality it is the middleman that generally makes the most money. So really it is one of those timeless debates of which do you prefer more assets of cashflow... Is this sort of what you are trying to get at?
Yeah Max Powers - you haven't given us the stuff we can work with to grow the income - just hints that merely growing a website/resource isn't going to make us rich (though we know it does make some people rich). True: the adsense game is one that starts very small, and grows at a rate that doesn't pay for rent any time soon (for me anyhow). The first few years it is never (in the West anyhow, India may be different) going to be more than a side job for most of us. So are you saying that we need to have other sources of income, like a job? Or should we be more interested in affiliate-deals? Or do webdesign as well? What?
Burta, kh7, I just got back in and read your posts, I have a long reply in mind and am really interested in discussing this topic with you. I dont have time right now, but tomorrow morning I'll post.
