Adsense Formats Was wandering around the web and decided to blog this. Can anyone verify this is accurate?
first of all your thread is about "formats" - but you actually write about colors - there is a HUGE different in FORMATS used ! G publishes the 3 most successful ad formats. the color schemes you mention: definitely NOT true I have totally different color schemes and a HIGH CTR around 2 digits depending on channel.
Good if you had a light coloured site. For mine which is very dark it would never work and look kind of stupid. Good in theory although not well executed.
that entirely depends on your site layout, backgrownd color, text color, and link color. you match your adsense text/BG/link color based on your site design. one color combination returns high CTR on one site doesn;t mean it will do the same on every sites
Believe it or not, I got this from one of those $30 Adsense ebooks you see advertised all over the place. One of my highest converting sites doesn't use ANY of the colors in the table. I just wanted to get some confirmation that my observations wasn't some fluke.
it all depends on your site background color and the total number of clicks. if the number is too small, then that statistics is useless
For every website there are other highest converting formats. That's why i always recommend using channels.
