Sup all need some tips quick! I have a great site with some great placement. I flucuate from #1-4 on google all the time. I was #1 for the last week now IM back at #3. These are great placements already, but the next 2 months are very important for my site niche so I want to be at #1 for this period. I have geared all title tags and interior text links to the keywords and phrases. Have done a bit of link building. The site is very old and has a lot of nice backlinks. The one great thing is that the search engines take nicely to changes and very quickly. So I need some tips on what I can do to get me ranking #1 and sticking there for a bit. Thanks in advanced!
sounds like your site is well optimized so what you have to do now, is link building check out what your competitors are doing and do the same, only better. stay low under the radar, so no one will say that you too aggressive start out by listing in a few free directories every week, and writing articles about your niche that are linking to your site if your competition is not too strong, that should do the trick

if youre already getting high ranking as you say, and if your site is also old as you mention.. then what about free press at the bigger online news sites? a headline like = "Can you teach an old dog new tricks on the Internet" or something. An article that says how you have something in common with many companies and people, youre a business thats been holding its weight in the rapid changing and massively competitive Internet sea. Some peoples like to read about that kinda stuff. If youre not an adult site and if you have something you sell, or offer as a service on your site..that could be used to show how your business / site in that market has been managing to hold its own for many years without going down. Business peoples seem to like that kinda stuff, it reminds them of their struggles and/ or current battles with staying competitive. Sorta like an inspirational success story. Its not exiciting when a business is old and has had top positions for decades. Its exciting when the battle is still goin on. you didnt watch the Gladiator to hear somebody explain how it went in words , it was the action , seeing the story play out .. all that kinda stuff. thats my opinion anyway Some peoples try to hide everything and only present themselves as business front. what fun is that? show us the battle! ..give us the story! Make me think there's a reason to cheer for your site and to check in on it now and then to see how its doing. But of course, do it clean and avoid the leech and drama trouble poo flingers Clean story, clean battle .. a success story in progress. .tale of the warriors in battle for a cause. Who are you, what is your business? Show us a business or website that gets people to feel drawn to it like that, and you'll see how all the SEO experts and branding in the world couldnt beat it .
