Higher PR = Higher CPM ?

I just noticed an important growth in the CPM for the channels of the web sites that also had an important gain with the recent PR update.

The biggest improvement was for sites that went form PR0 to PR4 or PR5.

This might indicate that even though many people believe PR is no longer important, you could benefit from a higher PR if you are an AdSense Publisher.

    Anyone noticed something similar?

i noticed mine went up, and that was just from a 0 to 2. would be interesting to see if PR is important for that. i may have to worry about it more now

nope, but the site is really new still and I've neglected it recently. it ranks well in yahoo and msn, but still no where for google. i could still be sandboxed i suppose.

    Same here.

Those sites I mention are really new, and I believe they are not out of the sandbox yet, but they are for sure ruling search results for their specific keywords on MSN and Yahoo!

I'm guessing based on previous experiences that it would take at least another 2 months before they begin to show in Google search results.

    Time will tell.

My CPM has been the same for weeks, and my PR went from 0 to 4.

I've suspected this for a while now - my low PR sites with similar content themes receive much lower CPC than the PR5s and PR6s.

I believe this is related to more frequent crawling. Higher PR sites supposidly get visited more frequently from google, which might result in more relevant ads, which could then result in a higher CPM. Just a thought.

Except the adsense bot and the google index bot are two different things.
