Just wondering ... I have read somewhere that if you sell your own product it is a good thing to offer higher commission to jv-partners. But how do you set that up in Clickbank? Do you take the same product but make a seperate product of it in clickbank?
This is normally done in the launch phase of a new product. A product vendor will contact related people with a JV offer whereby they will receive a higher % commission for the first week of launch. After that period of time the commission will come down to its intended amount. The benefit of doing this is twofold: 1. It gives you more leverage for getting the people who are capable of successfully promoting your product on board. 2. By getting these people on board you will make sales and fast which will mean you very quickly climb the clickbank ladder and will consequently get lots of new affiliates who start promoting your product. By the time these new affiliates have seen your product the commission rate will have dropped and no-one will be any the wiser.
