Hi All, iam a newbie. i have noticed while running campaign with low and high budget.some says that if we increase the budget there is chance of getting more clicks than with previous low budget. i think clicks are not mattered with increase in budget, but there is chance of more impressions.if we have low budget we can run the campaign. we can schedule the campaign according to time(Ad Scheduling).this will result us in good quality clicks with low budget. if i have written wrong please respond and need your explanation on this. thanks, Saravan
The higher the CPC the greater the number of impressions....in my opinion budget has very little to do with it.
What in the world are you guys talking about? If you're running a profitable campaign, you want to MAXIMIZE - not minimize - your budget. If you're reaching your budget before the end of the day, that means you're not getting as many clicks as you can.
From what I have foundout it seems your overall budget does gets you some quick impressions, specially if you are in a very competitive market. Lets say make money, this is highly competitive. Even though if you are only spending 0.35 to 0.40 cents a click you still have to compete with 100s of other advertisers who are in the same niche. In order to get google to show your ads more often (when starting out ) its a good idea to set atleast 50% of the amount google suggests as estimated daily budgest. This helps you with few things. 1. Your ads will show more often and you have a higher chances of getting good CTR 2. As your CTR improves, you can start lowering your CPC still getting the same number of clicks. run like this for 7 days straight and in a weeks time you will have winning keywords and you can knowout the once that arent performing well. There is a risk involved, if you mess up your budget you might loose all yoru money, but still this is the only way to get your ads to show up on google if you are competing in a competitive market. I promote lot of ringtone offers, there are days I have started my campaigns with 2.00/click, after getting somce nice CTR started dropping it down to almost 0.60/click and still was at 3rd or 4th position. hope this helps
