I saw my analytics today, one site with 1500 visitor but my bouncing rate is very high too, about 95%? Just wonder is some good or bad? If is bad, what should I do? Please advise. Thanks

just put your url here so we can analyse your site and if bouncing rate is 95% then its not good any way you should try to minimize your bounce rate up to 40%

Yup. A high bounce rate usually means that users do not find what they are looking for or do not like the sites navigation. Search engines will not help increase rankings for sites that have traffic that leaves 5 seconds after entering a site.

You need to analyse your website, where you are lacking. 95% bounce rate is not good. The reason would be site design, not having clear navigation or your users are not getting for what they have come to your site.

This simply means your title is promising or your marketing strategy is good, thats why people are coming to your site, but your content in your site is poor or not related what people are generally looking for in your niche, so they go away soon. What I will suggest that try to improve your content of your site, this will help you.

Need to find the source of traffic. If it is referral, the source is not gona give you any good leads.. If organic, need to check what keyword is driving you these traffic and how good is your content to support the keywords.. Check if there is any typo. You can also check the Google Webmaster tools

This means people are coming to your site expecting one thing, and getting another. It might be that you are promising the world and delivering little.... It is too hard to say without a URL!!

No doubt that a bounce rate of 95% is not at all healthy sign for you and you certainly need to probe deep into the matter. Instead of starting your investigation from website check the sources from where you are getting max visit. Might be possible that the source contributing maximum to the traffic is not sending you the relevant audience, who are flying off after landing on your website and ultimately increasing your website's bounce rate.

Secondly, you should check your website for its clear navigation structure, broken links, poor/irritating images, confusing content etc.

work on your content for sure over time it will reduce the rate...

quite immediate results can be gained from adding related links by content or title in nice plain view of the user arriving... rather than an adsense ad ;)

95% bounce rate is not good for your site. It mean your site have not good content that's wy visitor come your site and go back. Firstly you need to change your content which make visitor stability.

do you buy traffic by making very clickable ad that brings user to a page they would not expect? 95% is unbelievably high for natural search

first you should check from what sources these visitors are coming. If the source is not relevant then this traffic would not be any of your uses. If the source is relevant to your website nature then you must check the landing pages and its content. You visitors might not getting the information for what they landed on your page, so update the content on the page accordingly.

you should check the source from where visitors come and try to decrease your bounce rate up to 40-50%. your bounce rate is too high so as i know higher bounce rate effect search engine results so try to lower bounce rate
