High Traffic Yet Low Payout- Need some Help from DP

I own high trafficed blog called MWD (mwd.com) we recieve around 250-350k pageviews but that's not important.
What is interesting to me that some sites with just 20-30K pageviews or unique visitors per month make twice as much than MWD does.

Would like some honest opinions from you. So far we are using just one or two ads on the sidebar from Adsense.

How much does txt vs images differentiate?

I joined Dfp where I can run ads as well either via adsense or not..that thing is so strange to me and I am not sure what even to do with it. I set some stuff up but god knows if it's right.

Give me some lesson, I might be good at SEO but certainty not good at making money

 

I would suggest placing your AdSense near the main content of your blog. The more it is near to the content the more chances visitors will click it.

 

Use adsense and keep the ads in highly viewed sections of your site ,
You can make good amount for sure with text ads than image ads in my view .

Surely, text ads is highly recommended as it generated much profit than imagery.

I guess you expectations will be paid out as long as you utilize AdSense in a correct way. Likewise, the content of your blog may also help to boost your AdSense earnings through time.

 

Actually I moved from blogger to wordpress. I started using advertising manager plugin. Now i earn around 1 to 2$ through Adsense from my 4 sites altogether. I wanted it to be increased more.

 

You can also submit your blog's contents through Web 2.0 sites and link your main blog (WordPress) from there to increase your traffic and possibly your earnings.

Well, its simple create an account there and post your contents there using your account and try to link something towards your main blog.

Wow. These are web2.0 sites. I use these sites, but i dont know that these are web2.0 sites. But I heard hubpages give nofollow links. Then how this site can help us?

 

I assume that contents in your blog contains some special keywords right? For example you have a content about "Anti-Aging Treatment" and its keywords are "dark circles under eyes", then upon posting this same content to those Web 2.0 sites mentioned, from there link those keywords to your main blog.

 

Now i got your point. Since my site is related to Work from Home jobs, I can visit these sites and post articles. Then i need to link back to my site with work from home jobs. That does the trick for me. Cool Information thanks a lot elitegeek.

You are in a very good niche, but your ads need proper placement.
You just have one ad block on the right hand side panel, right.
I think you need to move that into the content, that is inside the blogpost, you will definitely see a marked improvement and change the adblock on the side bar to 160 X 600, i am very sure you will have doubled or tripled your earnings, all the best
